My friend Val taught me how to cross stitch as a teenager. We bought a Holly Hobbie greeting card and traced the design on to Aida and I picked colours and she sat there and taught me at lunchtimes at school.
Val’s main thing is cross stitch… she’s an Aussie Greek girl, and does the most beautiful work, as does her mother!
So, I’ve dabbled in cross stitch for over 30 years but will admit I haven’t been too excited by it until recently, when I discovered Quaker designs and Ink Circles and The Gift of Stitching Digital Magazine.
So, am now adding Cross Stitch to current obsessions… will list here projects both finished and in progress here.
