Dear Jane Marple

I’ve had the Dear Jane book for at least 6 years, it was my maybe one day project, until my friend Jayne decided she liked the look of this quilt and asked me did I know anything about it!

Next thing I know, I’m enrolled to do a class at Somerset Patchwork and I’ve started.   If you haven’t already worked out by now, I love 1930s reproduction fabrics, and as I have a huge stash of them, I decided to make a Depression Jane, using a different 1930s print for each block.   We got very enthusiastic, Jayne producing a lot more than me, as usual, though the enthusiasm has waned a little lately, with having to pack up my stash to move house.   These are my finished blocks – there are lots of others that I have prepared that I just need to work on.
